A smoke test was performed at a commercial building to investigate a sewer smell in the barber shop. The technician inspected ceiling plumbing in both the barber shop and adjacent business, pulled the toilet, and conducted sewer testing. No leaks were found on either system, indicating the odor source was not from active plumbing failures.

Called out to perform a smoke test in a commercial building due to a sewer smell in the barber shop. Upon arrival, we first looked in the ceiling and checked all the plumbing above head to make sure there were no noticeable issues. After that, we pulled the toilet to perform our smoke test. We performed the smoke test and did not find any leaks on the system.
We then went next door to the shawarma shop. We looked at all the plumbing in the ceiling there and again found no noticeable issues. We performed a sewer test for the sewer directly in the shawarma shop and found no leaks there.
We determined that there are no current leaks on this system. Pictures attached.
