Larry's Plumbing cleared a blocked commercial sewer line located approximately 40 feet from the building's toilets. The technician used an auger and camera to diagnose the issue, removing wipes and debris. Standing water in the pipe indicated improper slope, causing recurring blockages. After clearing the line and reinstalling toilets, the system functioned properly. Tenants were advised against flushing foreign objects.
We were called out to a commercial suite building that had reports of stopped up sewage. Upon arriving, we diagnosed the situation and found that the whole sewer system was stopped up. We pulled multiple toilets, ran our auger machine through multiple toilet openings, and we ran our camera through multiple toilet openings. We were able to unstop the sewer approximately 40 feet from the furthest toilet.
We pulled out a bunch of wipes and found the pipe to be holding water all the time, indicating that the sewer pipe is either flat or possibly falling backwards. This standing water is contributing to the blockages that continuously happen here. We let the tenants know not to flush any foreign objects and to be mindful of what goes down the drains here.
We reset each toilet and cleaned up our area before we left. The system is now working properly.
