A residential service call addressed a faulty master shower valve with a rusted retaining ring, requiring complete valve replacement and cartridge installation. The technician also converted a propane grill to natural gas by installing a shutoff valve, new orifices, and flex lines. All systems were tested and verified working before completion.
We were called out for multiple issues. One of the issues was the master shower valve was spraying when on. We ended up having to buy a whole new shower valve kit due to the retaining ring being completely rusted out. We went and got a new shower valve and replaced the cartridge, reinstated water, and verified everything was working properly.
We also had to replace the orifices for the back grill. The customer had a grill that was on propane and wanted it switched over to natural gas that was stubbed up in the enclosure. We removed the cap, installed a shutoff valve, and installed all of the necessary orifices and flex lines. We verified everything was working properly upon completion, cleaned the work area before leaving. Pictures attached.
