Larry's Plumbing replaced two exterior hose bibs during a residential service call. The technician shut off water, removed the old bibs from the side and back of the house, and installed new brass hose bibs with vacuum breakers. PEX piping was replaced at the rear location and insulated. Both bibs were tested for proper operation before completion.

Called out to give an estimate on replacing two outside hose bibs. Upon arrival, we did some investigation, gave the customer an upfront pricing. He approved our estimate.
We first started by turning off the water and going to the side of the house. We unthreaded the old hose bib, removed the support for the hose bib, replaced it with a new brass hose bib, and installed a new vacuum breaker.
We then went to the back of the house, cut out a section of old PEX along with the old hose bib, and replaced it with a new section of PEX and a new brass hose bib. We insulated the PEX, installed a new vacuum breaker, reinstated water, and checked both hose bibs for proper operation. Pictures attached.
