Arrived for a leak on a yard line. Met with the customer, who identified the problem area in the valve box in front of the house. We provided pricing for digging up the area, locating the leak, and making the repair. After approval, we turned off the water and dug an access hole to expose the broken pipe. We cut out the damaged section and made a new connection. We reinstated the water and verified that the water meter zeroed out. We backfilled the hole. Pictures attached.
