Services: Video Evaluation of Main/Branch through Existing Access, Clear Main Line with an Electric Snake from Existing Outside Access, Remove Wall Mount sink, Pull and Reset Toilet, Clear stoppage using flex shaft. Call Description:
Sewer stopped up after our last visit. Unit #117/118 and also unit #104 and #107
Work Performed:
Called out for stoppage on property, I found the affected units, and started by using a camera and snake to clear the line. Ran the snake all the way out with no success. We then talked to the other tenants that are here, we used a camera from several units to determine where the clog was. We found the clog to be under the front building. We pulled the toilet in the front building to verify if it was before or after the clog. After verifying we used the camera to get a distance, we had to remove a sink to camera. Removed the Sheetrock because the camera got stuck, cut out an improper portion of drain pipe that caused the camera to catch and replaced it. We then cut and went down the vent stack, we snaked the line and flex shafted (it took between 12-20 attempts) with several different sewer heads to remove all of the wipes and paper towels, as well as attempting to break up the chunk in the sewer before regaining flow in the sewer. We pulled a ton of wipes, paper towels, razors, and a gray chunky substance that resembled rubber. Used a camera after to verify the line was unstopped. We found that there is a large chunk of the rubber material sti
