A hydrostatic leak test was performed on the sewer line at a Tower Street area residence in Rockwall. The test failed, revealing a leak beneath the slab foundation. Water levels dropped significantly after the source was shut off, indicating a break in the underground sewer system. An isolation test was scheduled to pinpoint the leak's exact location.

Today, we were called out on Monday, June 15th to the customer's residence to perform a hydrostatic leak test on her property. This test was requested after she had foundation work done on her property to ensure that there are no leaks underneath the slab foundation.

The results of the test were a failed test, as the water level would not raise up to the top of the clean-out level. When the water source was turned off and removed, the water level dropped to about a foot below the slab level, indicating a leak on her sewer system somewhere beneath the foundation.

We suggested an isolation test to locate the source of this leak, and that was scheduled to be done on this coming Thursday.
