A technician corrected issues with two tankless water heater units that weren't functioning properly. The condensate line was upsized from 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch to prevent debris buildup and water drainage into the pan. The failed flood stop was replaced, and both units were flushed for optimal efficiency. All work was verified for proper operation before completion.

I called out to make a couple of corrections to a unit that was not functioning properly. For starters, I had run the condensate line out of 1/2 inch and upsized it to 3/4 at the termination point. The 1/2 inch line was getting seized up and unable to drain due to debris, causing water to drain into the tankless pan.
I removed the entirety of the 1/2 inch line and installed a full 3/4 line from point A to point B to verify proper flow at all times. We also replaced the flood stop for the unit, being that the flood stop had failed and was not functioning.
Lastly, we flushed both of the tankless units to ensure they would be as efficient as needed, verified all work for proper operation upon completion, and cleaned the work area before leaving. Attached pictures to the job of all work.
