Called out for a urinal not draining. We first tried to snake the urinal with no success. We then used chemicals to clear the urinal with no success. We then removed the urinal from the wall and used a flathead to try to chisel the buildup with no success. We verified that everything inside the wall was functioning properly. We ended up deciding to replace the urinal due to the scaling buildup and the inability to remove the buildup.
We installed a new urinal and checked all work for proper operation. We are also recommending a touchless valve to prevent the scaling in the future.
