A residential toilet bend replacement was completed in the guest bathroom. The technician excavated an access hole, removed the damaged bend, and installed a new 3x4 PVC-90 fitting. After backfilling and cutting concrete, a capped 4-inch pipe section was left exposed to allow proper concrete curing before the flange installation and toilet reset.

Called out to replace the toilet bend under the guest bathroom. Upon arrival, we had excavation dig an access hole under where the toilet was. After access was available, we cut out the toilet bend section. We then replaced it with a new 3x4 PVC-90. We then backfilled the access hole as well as sliced concrete down.
We left a section of about 2 feet of 4 inch pipe coming out of the ground while the concrete sets. We did cap that section of pipe so no sewer smell can leak. We will be back at a later date once the concrete has fully dried to install the flange and reset the toilet.
