A residential service call involved installing shower guards and setting a toilet in the upstairs bathroom. The technician discovered the flange was installed too high after previous water damage and replaced it with a new one, then set the toilet with a new wax ring and bolts. The master bathroom sinks were also cleared of blockage using a hand snake.

We were called out to install shower guards as well as set a toilet in the upstairs bathroom. Upon arrival, we got all of our equipment out. We went to our work area and noticed that the flange that was installed after the water damage was raised too high. We called the customer and told her she needed to replace that. After approval, we cut the old one out, installed the new flange, set the toilet to the new flange with new wax ring bolts and shims, reinstated water to the toilet, and checked for proper operation.
While on-site, the customer also said her master bathroom sinks were backed up. We gave her a price to unclog it. After approval, we used the hand snake to fully clear the blockage and ran the water in both sinks to check proper drainage. All pictures attached.
