Called out for a potential leak on the system. Upon arrival, we did some investigation and found out that the customer's double-check valve had failed. We gave the customer a bid to replace the double-check valve after approval.
We first started by digging access to the old double-check valve, cutting it out, and removing it. We threaded on the new double-check valve with new connections, reinstated water, and checked for proper operation. We backfilled with a new box and pea gravel. Pictures attached.
