The technician diagnosed the issue, obtained customer approval, shut off water supply, removed the old washer, installed a new one, and reinstalled the hose bib. Called out for a hose bib leaking on the backside of the home. Upon arrival, we met with the customer and she showed us where the issue was occurring.
We ran diagnostics on it and determined that the washers seated in the back of the hose bib had either worn down or broken apart. We gave the customer an option for replacement or repair on the hose bib. She went with the repair.
After approval, we turned off the water, unthreaded the hose bib, took the old washer out, seated a new washer in there, and threaded the hose bib back on. We reinstated water and checked for proper operation. All pictures attached.
