Called out to replace a 50-gallon gas water heater. Upon arrival, we got all of our equipment out, turned off the water, and started by draining the old 50-gallon heater. After it was through draining, we disconnected it and moved it out.
We then made new connections on the new water heater, connected it to the water lines, and reinstated water. We ran a new temperature and pressure line, ran a new drip leg, and installed a new expansion tank on the water heater. We turned on the water heater and checked for proper operation.
